In the most recent Rochester Review there is an article with this title. It caught my eye and I continued to read. I am glad I did. It has some great points. It is about John Miles ad 98` graduate from the University of Rochester. He started a company Integritive.
Simple but Key takeaways are:
- Keep your commitments
- Never promise more than you can deliver
- Practice good will in all your dealings
- Adhere to triple bottom line accounting - people, planet, and profit
- Work can and should be fun
- Real leadership is not in management of people, but in inspiring a purpose and giving people the playground to explore and find their best pat to completion
- Find clients who fit and avoid those who don't
- The purpose of anything is to find fulfillment in the moment
